Andrew Phillip was born on November 8th, 1878. Andrew Phillip's father was John Shaver and his mother was Mahala Harper. His paternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Mary Runyon. He had nine brothers and seven sisters, named George Worthy, William Henry, Leweran, Stillborn Infant, Jesse Milton, Ollie May, Romeo Freer, Stillborn Infant, Noah, Mary Catherine, Ada Emeline, Martha Jane, Rachel Ann, Luvernia Elizabeth, Armenta and Flora Belle.
