Abraham P. was born in June 1865 in Roane County, West Virginia. Abraham P.'s father was Paul Shaver and his mother was Susan Todd. His paternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Caroline Sarah Harper. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William P., James H., Peter Henry, Caroline, Eliza J., Susan Francis and Ruhama. He was the second youngest of the eight children. He died after 1899.-
