Herman Gustav Qualley 
Herman Gustav was born on December 31st, 1884 in Kindred, Davenport Township, Cass County, North Dakota. Herman Gustav's father was Ole Olson Qualley and his mother was Jensina Halvorsdotter Lee. His paternal grandparents were Ole Olson England and Anna Olsdotter Qualey. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Jens Olson, Oscar, Melvin Julius, Gillrock A., Dorothea Olsdotter, Elsie Anna, Josephine and Olga. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 67 on October 29th, 1952 in Kindred, Davenport Township, Cass County, North Dakota.-
