Allen Benton McDowell

Allen Benton was born in 1845 in Pike County, Ohio. Allen Benton's father was James M. McDowell and his mother was Eliza Daniels. His paternal grandparents were John McDowell and Catherine Hayes; his maternal grandmother was Vera la Vellier. He had two brothers and six sisters, named Levi, John Daniels, Sarah Ann, Lucinda, Susan Ann, Lydia Ellen, Mahalia and Mary Jane. He died at the age of 84 in 1929 in Wadena, Minnesota.
