Magdalena Salome was born on September 2nd, 1761 in Macungie Township, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. Magdalena Salome's father was Isaac Jarrett and her mother was Catherina Wetzel. Her paternal grandparents were Johan Jarrett and Anna Maria; her maternal grandparents were Conrad Wetzel and Anna Catharine Bayer. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named Johannes, Daniel, Jacob, Henry, Isaac, Elizabeth, Catherine, Anna Maria, Susanna, Margaretha, Johanna, Gertrude and Lydia. She is the fifth oldest of the fourteen children.-
