Her paternal grandparents were Johan Jarrett and Anna Maria; her maternal grandparents were Conrad Wetzel and Anna Catharine Bayer. She had five brothers and eight sisters, named Johannes, Daniel, Jacob, Henry, Isaac, Catherine, Anna Maria, Magdalena Salome, Susanna, Margaretha, Johanna, Gertrude and Lydia. She was the oldest of the fourteen children. She died at the age of 41 on September 24th, 1798 in Pennsylvania.General Notes
