Annie Lewis Gilkerson 
Annie Lewis was born in 1911. Annie Lewis' father was James Madison Gilkerson and her mother was Edna Malvern Johnson. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Shanklin Gilkerson and Elizabeth Ellen Kincaid; her maternal grandparents were Andrew Lewis Johnson and Martha Ellen Meadows. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Ernest Everett, Andrew Jennings, James Edward, Infant Boy, Bertha Malvern, Bethel Brooke and Martha Florence. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 85 in 1996.-
