Jesse C. Clayton 
Jesse C. was born on October 16th, 1828 in Perry County, Ohio. Jesse C.'s father was William Clayton and his mother was Sarah Critton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Jr Clayton and Mary Walker; his maternal grandparents were William Critton and Ann Haggerty. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Isaac, Ashford, Margaret and Lettie Ann. He was the youngest of the five children. He died at the age of 71 on August 13th, 1900 in Tyree, Douglas County, Oregon.-
