David H. Chipps

David H. was born on January 22nd, 1801 in Pennsylvania.  David H.'s father was Matthias Chipps and his mother was Rachel Sutton.  His paternal grandfather was John Chips and his paternal grandmother is Jannetje Lane. He had a brother and three sisters, named Abraham, Abigail, Mary and Elizabeth.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died at the age of 60 on February 22nd, 1861 in Mercer County, Missouri.

They had three sons and three daughters, named William T., Ellis B., James S., Mary Elizabeth, Elleanor and Martha.
