John was born about 1720.  He died after 1814 in Mendham or Chester Township, Morris County, New Jersey.

‌John and Jannetje were married in a religious ceremony about 1745.  They had three sons and three daughters, named Thomas, Morris, Matthias, Elizabeth, Mary and Rebecca.
