Matilda of was born about 1103 in Boulogne, France.  Matilda of's father was Eustace III of Boulogne and her mother was Mary of Scotland.  Her paternal grandparents were Eustace II Aux Gernons of Boulogne and Ida de Bouillon of Lorraine; her maternal grandparents were Malcolm III Caennmor Dunkeld of Scotland and Margaret the Exile Atheling.  She was an only child.  She died on May 3rd, 1152 in Hedingham Castle, Essex, England.  She was buried in 1152 in Faversham Abbey, Kent, England.

‌Matilda of and Stephen de Blois of were married in a religious ceremony in 1125 in Westminster Abbey, London, England.  They had three sons and two daughters, named Baldwin of, Eustace IV of, William de Blois of, Marie of and Matilda of.
