Sarah was born on November 15th, 1685 in Suffield, Hartford, Ct. Sarah's father was John Rising and her mother was Sarah Hall. Her paternal grandparents were James Rising and Elizabeth Hinsdale; her maternal grandfather was Timothy Heald\Hall and her maternal grandmother is Sarah Barber. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Jonathan, Josiah, James, John, Joseph, Hannah, Hannah and Eunice.-
