Charity was born on August 18th, 1723 in Stafford, CT. Charity's father was Samuel (Gates) Hall and her mother is Sarah Rising. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Hall and Elizabeth White; her maternal grandparents were John Rising and Sarah Hall. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Samuel, John, Josiah, Sarah, Marcy, Bethiah, Abigail and Eunice. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Jonathan, Nathaniel, Enoch, Ichabod, Nicholas, Mehitable, Remember and Elizabeth. She died after 1765.-
