Gundred was born in 1063 in Normandy, France.  Gundred's father was William King Of England and her mother was Matilda Countess Of Flanders Queen Of England.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert I "the Magnificent" Duke of Normandy and Herleva De Falaise; her maternal grandparents were Baudouin V Count of Flanders and Adaele Alix Princess of France. She had three brothers and six sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Richard, William II "Rufus", Henry I "Beauclerc", Cecilia, Alice Adbelahide |de Normandy, Matilda, Constance, Adaele Alice, Agatha and Robert II.  She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She had a half-brother named William.  She died at the age of 22 on May 27th, 1085 in Castle Acre, England.
