Robert I "the Magnificent" was born in 1003 in Normandy, France.  Robert I "the Magnificent"'s father was Richard II Duke Of Normandy and his mother was Judith De Bretagne.  His paternal grandparents were Richard I Duke Of Normandy and Gonnor De Crepon; his maternal grandparents were Conan I Duke Of Bretagne and Ermengarde Countess of Anjou. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Richard, Guillaume, Adelais, Adelais (Judith), Elbeonore, Of Normandy and Alice.  He was the second oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named Guillaume.  He died at the age of 32 on July 22nd, 1035 in Nicea, Turkey.

‌Robert I "the Magnificent" and Herleva were married in a religious ceremony in 1027.  They had a son and a daughter, named William and Adelaide.
