His paternal grandparents were Richard I Duke Of Normandy and Gonnor De Crepon; his maternal grandparents were Conan I Duke Of Bretagne and Ermengarde Countess of Anjou. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Robert I "the Magnificent", Guillaume, Adelais, Adelais (Judith), Elbeonore, Of Normandy and Alice. He was the oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother named Guillaume. He died at the age of 27 on August 6th, 1028 in France.-
