Elizabeth Ellen was born on January 30th, 1854 in Wayne Co., Ohio. Elizabeth Ellen's father is Peterson Lowry and her mother is Mary Margaret Ward. Her paternal grandparents were James Lowry and Rachel Peterson. She had four brothers and four sisters, named John Winfield, Francis Marion, Jesse CarMills, Conrad Peterson Ellsworth, Nancy Jane, Mary Catherine, Melissa (Mealisa) and Emline Viola. She is the fourth oldest of the nine children.-
