Jaime I "The Conqueror" was born in Montpellier, France.  Jaime I "The Conqueror"'s father was Pedro II "The Catholic" King of Aragon and his mother was Maria Countess of Montpellier.  His paternal grandparents were Alfonso II "The Chaste" King of Aragon and Sancha Queen of Aragon; his maternal grandparents were Guillaume VIII Count Of Montpellier and Eudoxia Princess Of The Byzantine Empire.  He was an only child.  He died on July 27th, 1276 in Valencia, Spain.

‌Jaime I "The Conqueror" and Jolan were married in a religious ceremony on September 8th, 1235 in Barcelona, Spain.  They had a daughter named Isabel.
