Anna was born on December 11th, 1893 in Springdale, Washington Co., Utah. Anna's father was Freeborn Demille Gifford and her mother is Amelia Jane Hepworth. Her paternal grandfather was Samuel Kendall Gifford and her paternal grandmother is Lora Ann Demille. She had seven brothers and five sisters, named Samuel Kendall, Freeborn Barney, Frank Ephraim, Harry Squire, Anthony, Benjamin, Lawrence, Annice, Amelia, Arseneth, Penelpa and Eva. She was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 82 on June 13th, 1976 in Alpine, Utah co. , Utah.-
