William Morgan Gatten 
William Morgan was born on March 1st, 1870 in Washington Township, Belmont Co., Ohio. William Morgan's father was William Henry Gatten and his mother was Mary Hannah Huffman. His paternal grandfather was Charles Gatton and his paternal grandmother is Sarah Lamp; his maternal grandparents are John Huffman and Elizabeth. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Horati Seymore, James Henry, John F., William Dennis, Sara Elizabeth and Mary Jane. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 85 on January 28th, 1956 in Speidel, Ohio.-
