William Gatten

William was born in 1859. William's father was Dennis Gatten and his mother is Elizabeth Piatt. His paternal grandparents were Samuel Gatten and Mary Woodford. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas Jefferson, Samuel, Frederick, Matilda, Sadie, Laura, Rosie, Cara and Louella. He is the oldest of the ten children.
