Sally was born in 1877. Sally's father was Osborn Anders and her mother was Rachel Taylor. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Anders and Sarah Richardson; her maternal grandparents are John Taylor and Lucinda Ham. She had seven brothers and a sister, named Thomas, James Emmett, John Calvin, Rush Floyd, David, Henry Mack, Elbert Sevier and Alice. She is the fourth youngest of the nine children.-
