She had nine brothers and three sisters, named James Knox, Marshall T, John, Franklin Ezekiel, Samuel W, Marshall Tate, John Lee, William Hawkins, Samuel, Jane Maria, Lydia Eliza and Naomi. She was the third youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 38 on April 6th, 1851 in Columbia, Maury, Tennessee.
