Matilda Golden POLK 
Matilda Golden was born on December 5th, 1770 in Prob., Tyron, North Carolina. Matilda Golden's father was Ezekiel Franklin POLK and her mother was Mary Winslow WILSON. Her paternal grandparents were William POLK and Margaret TAYLOR; her maternal grandparents were Samuel WILSON and Mary WINSLOW. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, John, William Wilson, Clarissa, Mary and Louisa. She was the oldest of the eight children. She died at the age of 82 on September 20th, 1853 in Springfield, Greene Co., Mo.General Notes
