Clarissa POLK

Clarissa was born on December 25th, 1782 in Prob., Mecklenburg, North Carolina. Clarissa's father was Ezekiel Franklin POLK and her mother was Mary Winslow WILSON. Her paternal grandparents were William POLK and Margaret TAYLOR; her maternal grandparents were Samuel WILSON and Mary WINSLOW. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Samuel, John, William Wilson, Matilda Golden, Mary and Louisa. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 63 on December 8th, 1846 in Bolivar, Hardeman Co., Tn.
