Marcus Hartwell Wheeler 
Marcus Hartwell was born on July 14th, 1808 in Thetford, Orange, Vermont. Marcus Hartwell's father was Amos Wheeler and his mother was Eunice Hosford. His paternal grandparents were Abijah Wheeler and Sarah Allen; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Hosford and Mary Peters. He had three brothers and a sister, named John, Carlos, Amos Willard and Eliza. He died at the age of 89 on January 25th, 1898 in Westport, Wisconsin.-
