Eleanor was born on October 13th, 1162 in Domfront, Normandy, France.  Eleanor's father was Henry II Curtmantle Plantagenet and her mother was Duchess of Aquitaine Eläeonore.  Her paternal grandparents were Geoffrey V 'the Fair' Plantagenet and Matilda the Empress; her maternal grandparents were Guillaume X and Eläeonore De Chatellerault. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William, Richard I, Geoffrey, John, Henry IV 'The Young', Philip, Matilda and Joana. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named William, Peter, Duke of LIncoln, Richard of, Duke of Beverly, Rosamond, Matilda of, Marie, Alice and Mary.  She died at the age of 52 on October 31st, 1214 in Burgos, Spain.

‌Eleanor and Alphonso VIII 'the Good' were married in a religious ceremony in September 1170 in Burgos, Spain.  They had a son and eleven daughters, named I, Prince of Castile, Princess of Castile, Prince of Castile, Blanche of, Princess of Castile, Princess of Castile, Princess of Castile, Princess of Castile, Princess of Castile, Blanca and Queen of Castile.
