Abel Krum 
Abel was born in 1805 in Cherry Valley, Ashtabula Co., Ohio.1 Abel's father was Peter Krum and his mother was Sarah Trowbridge. His paternal grandfather was Peter Krum; his maternal grandparents were Abel Trowbridge and Anne Mosier. He had three brothers and five sisters, named Hendrik, John Marshall, Hiram F., Jane M., Anna Eliza, Fanny, Sarah and Catherine. He was the fourth oldest of the nine children. He died about January 1881 in Cherry Valley, Ashtabula Co., Ohio.1 -
