Gysbert Krom 
Gysbert was born in 1653.1 Gysbert's father was Willem Gijsbertz Crom and his mother was Maycken Hendricks Van Der Oever. He had a brother and two sisters, named Hendrick, Elisabet and Geertje. He was the second youngest of the four children. He died at the age of 71 in 1724 in New York.1 
‌Gysbert and Geertje Ariense were married in a religious ceremony in 1674 in Rochester, Ulster Co., NY.1 They had five sons and four daughters, named Willem, Gysbert, Dirck, Hendrickus, Zacharia, Mayken, Aagje, Lysbet and Catherine.
