‌Gysbert and Geertje Ariense were married in a religious ceremony in 1674 in Rochester, Ulster Co., NY.¹   They had five sons and four daughters, named Willem, Gysbert, Dirck, Hendrickus, Zacharia, Mayken, Aagje, Lysbet and Catherine.
