Benjamin Knowlton 
Benjamin was born in 1646 in Ipswich, Essex, Massachusetts. Benjamin's father was William Knowlton and his mother was Elizabeth Balch. His paternal grandparents were Capt. William Knowlton and Ann Elizabeth Smith; his maternal grandparents were John Balch and Margaret Lovett. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Nathaniel, William, John, Samuel, Joseph, Elizabeth, Margery and Mary. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 44 on August 19th, 1690 in Springfield, Hampden, Massachusetts.General Notes
