Jean II "Le Bon" was born on April 26th, 1319 in Château de Gué-de-Maulny, France.  Jean II "Le Bon"'s father was Philip VI "De Valois" Capet and his mother was Jeanne De Bourgogne.  His paternal grandparents were Charles III Capet and Princess of Naples Margaret; his maternal grandparents were Robert and Agnès Capet.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 44 on April 8th, 1364 in London, Middlesex, England.  He was buried in St Denis, , , France.
