John Bertram

John was born about 1194. John's father was Robert Bertram and his mother was Mabel de Clare. His paternal grandparents were Richard Bertram and Menebell Gisulph; his maternal grandparents were Roger "The Good" De Clare and Maud de St. Hilary. He had a brother and two sisters, named Richard, Christian and Aelina. He was the second youngest of the four children. He had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Robert, Philip, William, Roger and Alice.
