Nevada Sloan 
Nevada was born on November 17th, 1875 in Marengo,Crawford County,Indiana. Nevada's father was John Eads Sloan and her mother was Celeste Ann Weathers. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Neal Sloan and Mary Eads; her maternal grandparents were Vincent Weathers and Elitha Eleander May. She had five brothers named Perry V., Lyman Edward, John William Clark, Benjamin Lee and Treat Foresta. She was the second youngest of the six children. She had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named Ridgely, Clayton, Delancy, Cecil, Wayne Walter and Lulu. She died at 10 months old on October 14th, 1876. She was buried in Marengo Cemetery,Marengo,Crawford County,Indiana.-
