Charles Haden Sloan 
Charles Haden was born on April 14th, 1879 in Crawford County,Indiana. Charles Haden's father was Winfield Scott Sloan and his mother was Mary Ann Bennett. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Neal Sloan and Mary Ann Sands Douthit. He had six brothers and seven sisters, named Cyprian Neal, Willis Edward, Lebish Meade, Lelonza Erastis(Rassie), Leroy Bert, Chester Raymond, Anna Belle, Stella, Eva Ellen, Winnie, Julia, Bessie and Lettie. He was the fifth oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 85 on April 10th, 1965 in Milltown,Indiana. He was buried in Milltown Cemetery,Crawford County,Indiana.-
