Maria Riley 
Maria was born on May 18th, 1798 in Stokes County,North Carolina. Maria's father was Michael Ryley and her mother was Sarah Black. She was an only child. She died at the age of 83 on February 28th, 1882 in Crawford County,Indiana.
‌Maria and Benjamin were married in a religious ceremony on July 25th, 1820 in Stokes County,North Carolina. They had a son and seven daughters, named John Wesley, Sarah Susan, Mary Ann Sands, Melinda Amelia, Nancy E., Rebecca E., Lydia M. and Female.

Mary Ann Sands Douthit
Mary Ann Sands was born on September 23rd, 1830 in Orange County,Indiana. She died at the age of 49 on October 20th, 1879 in Crawford County,Indiana. She was buried in Simpson Chapel Cemetery.
Melinda Amelia Douthit
Melinda Amelia was born on January 10th, 1833 in Orange County,Indiana. She died at the age of 84 on August 26th, 1917.
