Anna was born on July 9th, 1780 in Rowan County,North Carolina. Anna's father was John Sloan and her mother was Mary Greene. Her paternal grandparents were Archibald Sloan and Margaret---------; her maternal grandfather was Jermiah Green. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Archibald, Jeremiah, John, Margaret and Mary. She died at the age of 66 on August 12th, 1846 in Marengo,Crawford County,Indiana. She was buried in Old Marengo Cemetery.-
