John Sloan Stewart 
John Sloan was born in 1800 in Jackson County,Georgia. John Sloan's father was David N. Stewart and his mother was Anna Sloan. His maternal grandparents were John Sloan and Mary Greene. He had six brothers and two sisters, named James, David Green, Eli, Samuel M, Martin T., Lewis Byrum, Martha Ann and Mary Ann. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 7 in 1807 in Barren County,Kentucky.-
