Robert Lee Sligh

Robert Lee was born on June 3rd, 1873.¹ Robert Lee's father was Emmanuel S. Sligh and his mother was Sarah D. "Sallie" Glymph. His maternal grandparents were Lemuel Glymph and Sarah Kinard. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John Lemuel, Charles William, Thomas Edward, Henry Middleton, James Pickney, Gustavus Beauregard, Elma, Sara "Sallie" Elma, Nora Ella, Ada C. and Minnie F.. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 23 on September 4th, 1896.¹
