Henry Middleton Sligh

Henry Middleton was born on April 18th, 1859.¹ Henry Middleton's father was Emmanuel S. Sligh and his mother was Sarah D. "Sallie" Glymph. His maternal grandparents were Lemuel Glymph and Sarah Kinard. He had six brothers and five sisters, named John Lemuel, Charles William, Thomas Edward, James Pickney, Gustavus Beauregard, Robert Lee, Elma, Sara "Sallie" Elma, Nora Ella, Ada C. and Minnie F.. He was the fourth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 84 on August 25th, 1943.¹
