Sarah (Sallie) was born on October 7th, 1809 in Knox Co.,KY. Sarah (Sallie)'s father was *Elijah Prewit and her mother was *Susannah Katherine DeMoss. Her paternal grandparents were *David II Prewit and *Jane Parrott; her maternal grandparents were *Andrew DeMoss and *Elizabeth. She had four brothers and six sisters, named *Joel P. , Rev., William, Silas M., Elijah Jr., Elizabeth, Jane, Anna, Kezie, Mary (Polly) and Susannah. She was the third oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 71 on May 15th, 1881 in KY.-
