Mary Eliza Powers 
Mary Eliza was born in 1834. Mary Eliza's father was George Powers and her mother was Agnes (Aggy) Gentry. Her paternal grandparents were Isaac H. Powers and Abigail Davis; her maternal grandparents were Shelton Gentry and Elizabeth. She had two brothers and four sisters, named Andrew J., John, Nancy, Elizabeth, Lucinda and Rachel. She was the oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Truman Glenn, Mariah, Margaret Ellen, Minerva J. and Agnes.-
