Her paternal grandparents were Edward Mansel Sir Knight and Jane Somerset Lady; her maternal grandparents were Henry (Harry) Morgan Esquire and Elsbeth Bowen. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Francis, Walter, Richard, Anthony, Jane, Jonet and Mary.
