Elijah Keeler 
Elijah was born on March 17th, 1726 in Ridgefield,CT. Elijah's father was *Joseph Keeler and his mother was *Elizabeth Whitney. His paternal grandparents were *Samuel Keeler and *Sarah St.John; his maternal grandparents were *John Whitney and *Elizabeth Smith. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Isaac, Martin, Lot, Paul, Silas, *John (Sr), Rachel, Elizabeth and Sarah. He was the youngest of the eleven children.General Notes
Pres. George Bush is a decendent from Elijah Keeler.
He See p. 15 of Boughton's Rockwell Genealogy. Settled in South Salem and after living at North Castle, Westchester County, and Pound Ridge and Lower Salem he returned to Ridgefield, where he bought land east of Town Street, and lived there.
