Beldon Olmstead was born on January 7th, 1816 in Mentz,Cayaga,NY. Beldon Olmstead's father was *Silas Keeler and his mother was *Elizabeth Olmstead. His paternal grandparents were *John Keeler Jr. and *Patty Olmstead; his maternal grandfather was *Silas Olmstead. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Lewis, John Silas, Asa, *Harvey Daniel, John, Daughter, Eliza, Anna, Amanda and Patty Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 46 on October 7th, 1862 in Mentz,Cayaga,NY.-
