William HARDMAN 
William was born on October 17th, 1796 in Salwick,Kirkham,Lancashire,England and his baptism took place there on June 3rd, 1797. William's father was Richard HARDMAN and his mother was Elizabeth HODGKINSON. His paternal grandparents were William HARDMAN and Margaret Jane KILSHAW; his maternal grandparents were James HODSKINSON and Ellen KIRBY. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Edward, John, Richard, John, Betty (Betsy), Margaret, Jane, Elizabeth and Alice. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 77 on March 21st, 1874.General Notes
