John HARDMAN 
John was born on March 17th, 1799 in Salwickm Kirkham,Lancashire,England and his baptism took place on March 25th, 1799 in Salwick,Kirkham,Lancashire,England. John's father was Richard HARDMAN and his mother was Elizabeth HODGKINSON. His paternal grandparents were William HARDMAN and Margaret Jane KILSHAW; his maternal grandparents were James HODSKINSON and Ellen KIRBY. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Edward, William, Richard, John, Betty (Betsy), Margaret, Jane, Elizabeth and Alice. He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
