John HARDMAN 
John was born on January 6th, 1813 in Salwick,Lancashire,England and his baptism took place on February 14th, 1813. John's father was Richard HARDMAN and his mother was Elizabeth HODGKINSON. His paternal grandparents were William HARDMAN and Margaret Jane KILSHAW; his maternal grandparents were James HODSKINSON and Ellen KIRBY. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Edward, William, John, Richard, Betty (Betsy), Margaret, Jane, Elizabeth and Alice. He was the second youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 38 on August 5th, 1851.General Notes
