William Finley 
William was born in 1810 in Greenville,Augusta County,Virginia. William's father was Samuel Finley and his mother was Mary Tate. His paternal grandparents were Michael Finley and Mary Waugh. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John Tate, Samuel Brown, Marie Waugh, Jane Tate, Caroline Ellen and Lavinia. He was the second youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 61 in 1871 in Holly Springs,Mississippi.-
