Caroline Ellen Finley 
Caroline Ellen was born in 1808 in Greenville,Augusta County,Virginia. Caroline Ellen's father was Samuel Finley and her mother was Mary Tate. Her paternal grandparents were Michael Finley and Mary Waugh. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John Tate, William, Samuel Brown, Marie Waugh, Jane Tate and Lavinia. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 58 in 1866 in Lenoir,North Carolina.-
